General

Who is NQ Aerovation?

NQ Aerovation is North Queensland’s leading distributor of advanced agricultural drone technology. We provide end-to-end UAV solutions including drone sales, accredited training, maintenance, and authorised warranty repairs.

What drones do you specialise in?

We focus on DJI Agriculture drones such as the Agras T25, T50, and the new Agras T100, offering sales, servicing, training, and warranty support.

Training & Certification

Do I need a licence to fly agricultural drones in Australia?

Yes. You’ll need a CASA-certified Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) and for medium-class drones like the DJI Agras T50 or T100, you’ll also require a Spray Drone Type Endorsement. To fly commercially, you will also need a Remote Operators Certificate (ReOC).

What training programs does NQ Aerovation offer?

We provide:

  • Remote Pilot Licence (RePL)
  • DJI & XAG Spray Drone Type Endorsements
  • Remote Operators Certificate (ReOC)
  • Industry-specific training for precision agriculture

Who delivers the training?

We partner with FPV Australia, the country’s longest serving CASA-certified drone school, with more than 200 years of combined aviation experience in our team.

How much does RePL training cost?

RePL training with Air Radio Operators Certificate (AROC) costs $2490 for <7kg. To upgrade to <25kg, add $500. All course materials and training drones are provided.

How much does Spray Drone Type Endorsement training cost?

Full-day training and flight test is $1750. For experienced pilots, the flight test only option is $890. DJI Agras drone hire is available at $500/day.

What is a ReOC and do I need one?

A Remote Operators Certificate (ReOC) is required for businesses flying drones commercially for hire or reward. It allows you to apply for permissions outside standard safety rules. NQ Aerovation offers a complete ReOC certification package, including manuals, software, consultancy, and lifetime support.

Servicing & Support

Do you provide drone servicing?

Yes. We provide full diagnostic assessments, firmware updates, cleaning, and flight testing to keep your drone in peak condition. A detailed service report is included with every service.

Why is regular drone maintenance important?

Regular maintenance helps extend equipment lifespan, prevents unexpected failures, ensures safe operation, and keeps your drone working efficiently in the field.

Warranty & Repairs

Are you an authorised DJI repair centre?

Yes. NQ Aerovation is an authorised DJI warranty repairer. We use genuine DJI parts and can process warranty claims directly with DJI for fast, stress-free turnaround times.

What drones are covered under your warranty repairs?

We provide warranty repairs and servicing for DJI Agras drones, including the T25 and T50 models, as well as future models like the T100.

What if my drone is out of warranty?

We also provide non-warranty servicing and repairs, using genuine parts and in-house technical expertise to minimise downtime.
