FAQ's

Do I need to send my drone in for inspection, or can this be done remotely?

In some cases, we can complete an initial assessment remotely using photos, videos, and flight logs. NQA Advantage customers have access to CoFlight Remote support, so we can login to your drone remote controller from anywhere in Australia to support you in real time. If further inspection is required, we’ll advise you to send the aircraft or affected components to our workshop.

Does DJI warranty cover repairs?

DJI’s manufacturer warranty covers eligible defects in materials and workmanship, subject to assessment and approval.

NQ Aerovation facilitates the full process as an authorised service centre — from diagnosis through to repair — ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards. Support and service inclusions may vary depending on where your aircraft was purchased.

Do you repair drones not purchased through NQ Aerovation?

Yes. We provide repair and warranty support services for all DJI Agras aircraft and equipment, including those purchased through other dealers.

Will I be charged for a warranty repair?

Customers who purchase through NQ Aerovation receive labour and parts coverage on eligible warranty repairs under our NQA Advantage program.

For aircraft purchased elsewhere, service charges apply for diagnostics, labour, and warranty processing.

How do I start a repair or warranty claim?

Submit your details through our repair form, including your aircraft serial number, log QR code, photos or videos of the issue, and a description of the fault.

Who decides if my drone is covered under warranty?

All warranty decisions are made by DJI Agriculture. NQ Aerovation manages the process and communicates with DJI on your behalf.

Do I need to provide flight logs?

Yes. Flight logs are often required for warranty assessment. Failure to provide logs may result in warranty being declined.

What happens if my drone is not covered under warranty?

If your claim is not approved, we will provide a quotation for repair. No work will proceed without your approval.

How long do repairs take?

Turnaround times vary depending on parts availability, DJI approval timeframes, and workshop workload.

NQA Advantage customers receive priority service.

Can you help if I don’t know what’s wrong with my drone?

Yes. That’s exactly what the diagnostic process is for. Our team will assess the issue, identify the cause, and guide you through the next steps.

What information do I need to provide for a warranty claim?

We typically require your aircraft serial number, log QR code, proof of purchase, photos or videos of the issue, and a description of what occurred. Providing complete information helps speed up the process.

Who pays for freight and transport?

The customer is responsible for all freight and transport costs to and from our workshop, unless otherwise agreed.

Do you use genuine DJI parts?

Yes. All repairs are completed using genuine DJI Agriculture parts to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with manufacturer standards.

What if my drone was damaged in a crash?

Depending on the cause of the crash, it may not be covered under manufacturer warranty. We can still assess the aircraft and provide a quotation for repair or insurance claim.
